We can refer you for a mammogram when appropriate. Mammograms are done at an imaging provider; cover depends on the applicable screening or diagnostic benefit.
A referral or blood draw does not mean every test or specialist visit is automatically covered. Confirm benefits, limits and any approvals before proceeding.
Medication from our rooms
Where medication is appropriate, we issue acute medication from the KeyCare formulary at the practice. Acute medication treats a current, short-term condition.
The formulary is the approved medication list. Your medication is restricted to that list and its limits. It does not include every medicine, brand or quantity.
Tell the doctor what you already take and about any medication allergies. We can explain which appropriate options are available within the formulary and discuss any medicine that falls outside it.
Ongoing medication may need chronic registration and separate approval. We can help with chronic registration.
Our KeyCare fair usage policy
KeyCare consultations at our practice are for medical conditions that require a doctor.
The network usage expectation we work with is three consultations per year. This is not a three-visit limit. If you have a genuine medical reason to see a doctor, further consultations remain available, subject to your plan’s rules.
Please use appointments for genuine medical needs. Do not delay necessary care because you have already had three visits.
