Common questions

How much does a pregnancy scan cost?

A dating ultrasound is R750. This price does not include printed pictures.

When should I have a dating scan?

Dating scans are most accurate in early pregnancy (the first trimester). If you're unsure how far along you are, book and we'll advise.

Can you confirm my pregnancy first?

Yes, we do pregnancy tests onsite as part of your visit.

Do you do Pap smears too?

Yes. We take Pap smears for cervical screening and can advise whether you're due for one.

What should I do if I have bleeding or severe pain?

Heavy bleeding, severe abdominal pain, fainting or shoulder-tip pain in early pregnancy can be an emergency. Go to the nearest emergency unit straight away.
